I got to goal! I am now 9st 5lbs, and no longer have to pay at weigh-ins... hurrah!!! Another 6 pounds to go until my personal target, and I'm now going to go every fortnight to try and get there.
Happy days.

Weightwatchers Wednesday
I lost 2lbs! Yay! I don't actually know how... I worked it out to about 3 good days and 4 bad days this week, but at last I'm only 1lb off losing a stone, and 3lbs away from my weightwatchers goal!

Spreading wings (again)
Me and R have been talking more and more about moving out and renting a place of our own. We've been talking about it for ages, but now it actually seems quite real... and quite scary! R starts her nurse training at uni next week, and she can't apply for any loans/maintenence fees like we could when we were at uni. Instead, she gets a £550 bursary from the NHS. However, her parents still want the £200/month board from her, which leaves her with pretty much nothing.
So we figured that we might as well move out as soon as possible, and that £200 may as well go to good use on her share of the rent on a house. But it's not as easy as that; I'm still waaay into my student overdraft and really have to save before we go anywhere. I've been using R's spare bed ever since I moved back home, and she'll need that for when she moves out. Have you seen how expensive double beds are these days!!!!! I'm not looking forward to having to spend my well earned cash on boring things like double beds and........ washing up liquid, which proves that I'm not ready yet to enter the responsible world of being a proper adult. I'm happy just swanning along at the moment, but there's only so much of moving back home that you can stand before you start screaming, pulling your hair out and stamping your feet....

Time to yawn.
London is well and truly over, and I'm back at my part-time-turned-full-time job until things start to look up. I'm working 46 hours a week and feel as though I hardly have any time to breathe, let alone blog/write/apply for jobs and all of the other things on my to-do list.
However, I did get £150 overpaid today, which was a big bonus. It all goes into the car fund (the just-started car fund) and I finally have my savings plan up and running, although living on £40 a week is so not fun.
But I do promise to get my laptop fixed and blog more regularly...soon!

Only a day in, and ready for home?
Everything was packed up for London and I was bopping along quite good and dandy, had everything ready to take to my BF R's house ready for a huge, pre-birthday celebratory night out, when I found out that mum had been admitted to hospital. It's a horrible, crushing feeling; whenever she goes in, she's guaranteed not to come out for days, which then turn into weeks... and so on. Her blood was really thin and they wanted to keep her in and feed her vitamin K and hopefully make her better in a day or two.
She was really upset that she couldn't wave me off to London, and I got a bit upset both before the drink and after the drink... and three nights later she's still in. I find it really hard being away from her when she's ill; I like to visit every day and make sure she's ok and keep close just in case anything happens - we've had a few near-misses in the past few years. I'm really hoping she'll be out tomorrow, and if she's still in more to the end of the week then I'll consider going home for the weekend, so we shall see.
My first day at more! magazine was fab, check out my diary @ journolily.blogspot.com ... and I'm loving London. I'm so completely knackered; even though the journey is only about 45 mins each way (and I am sitting down for most of it!) the tube is sooooo hot and sticky and full of smelly people....
I'm planning on doing a bit of shopping tomorrow, and a bit of sightseeing for the rest of the week, I need to start taking some photos and working my way around, I'm really desperate to make the most of my time here!

Boyfriend + perfume + cuddles = happy smiling people
DC finally came home....... it's been a long two weeks! He's as brown as, honestly, I look so pale compared to him it's almost ridiculous. He came home with a bad back, ribs and a nasty cough that still hasn't gone away. However, he brought perfume with him. Armani Code to be precise, the same one he bought me for Christmas all that time ago.
So we've had 3 days together before I whisked off to London. He's been in such a good mood, I'm still waiting for lovey-dovey DC to disappear and be replaced by the normal moaning minnie that he usually is. He came to pick me up on Wednesday evening and we picked up an indian takeaway and had an early night. Friday we went to Pizza Hut and cinema to see The Time Traveller's Wife... oh my god. How sad!!!! I loved it and even DC couldn't deny that he liked it.
Anyway, I won't go on and on and on, but all in all we've had a really nice few days together.
And now I'm in London!!!!! It was quite an adventure... first the coach didn't turn up to take us, and we had to divert to Milton Keynes and wait around for a ridiculous amount of time, meaning we arrived at Victoria Station two hours after we were scheduled too. I was surprised at how well i did on the tube, bar struggling with my hefty suitcase, and DC's step by step directions which at times ended up not being too accurate! But I arrived in Crouch End all in one piece. I'm staying with DC and R's aunty in her flat; it's gorgeous, I know already that I'm going to love it here.
I start work experience tomorrow morning at 10 and I'm really nervous but excited at the same time. I don't just want to come to London to go to work experience and come back to the flat either; there's so much that I want to get out and see, I have my list ready and I can't wait to go through it all.
Oh, and I'm really hoping DC comes to surprise me on my birthday. Fingers crossed!
